The Baptism Story
We were getting ready to go to a baptism at the stake center when we lived in Arco. I had been asked to be a witness (and I may have been asked to give a talk too). We were getting ready in the trailer and someone called on the telephone. I was in the back of the trailer and I said that I would get it. I was wearing a suit at the time and right at the end of the hallway was the couch. So I just kind of hurdled over that. When I did, I thought I heard something rip. I asked Mom to look and see if anything was torn. She looked and said, "Nope, everything's all right don't worry about it, let's go". So we went up to the baptism. They had the talks in the chapel and then we went back to the baptism room. I was asked to stand by the font to witness the baptism. As soon as the baptism was over, Lynette came right up behind me and said, "Come on, we're leaving, you've got a rip in your pants."
